OH SHIT

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 9, 2008, 12:23 PM
I've been so busy trying to go everywhere and see everything that I haven't had a chance to really do anything creative lately. I'm hoping to shit out some art today or sometime this week...but who knows. Usually when I go through one of these no art phases, I come back with a completely new and badass style. ksfhdrshjgflkdjghsdkfjsjkfhdsk;fghdskjghdfljkghdflgkdjjkdhfg
wish me luck!

Shit

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 29, 2008, 8:10 PM
I don't live in California anymore..now I live in Minnesota. It's cold here..I forgot about that. wtf. I guess I'll have to plan on moving again soon.

I've mastered Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom..so now I'm getting bored. I decided to move on to Adobe After Effects. Which means more stop-motion and possibly some video to come.

And I have a feeling I might die soon, so I probably will.

Amen

Quotes!

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 20, 2007, 7:18 PM
Here are some quotes that have helped motivate me over the years with art...and some that are just kind of cool.

Enjoy :)

"People will forget what you said, they will even forget what you did, but they will never forget what you made them feel."
-Maya Angelou

"Never use money as a yardstick for success with your art."
-?

"Never apologize for your art."
-?

"If the world were clear, art would not exist." -
Camus

"I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them."
-Picasso

"An artist is not paid for his labour but for his vision"
-James MacNeill Whistler

"I am always doing things I can't do, that's how I get to do them."
-Picasso

"I never finish a painting - I just stop working on it for a while."
-Arshille Gorky

"Do not worry about your originality. You could not get rid of it even if you wanted to."
-Robert Henri

Artist's Statement

I am human. I am a number. I am going to die, eventually. Mate, feed, kill, repeat. That’s how I see life. I am carefree and happy as can be.

I like to tickle a person’s perspective on life and their surroundings. I like to put love, hate, organization, and confusion all together, and watch as no one sees the difference. I like to be respectful and honest. Therefore, I hate politics and organized religion.

A Buddhist could probably understand my sarcasm and views the best. If not a Buddhist, then probably someone who knows they’re going to die soon. Someone who can see unclouded by lies and greed.

The goal of my art is either to piss you off or to open your eyes, and sometimes they will go hand-in-hand. To be pissed off is generally the first reaction people get from my art. But if I open your eyes, I do it so insidiously, that you look to the person beside you to see if the same feeling is running through their head, or if its just you.
Look beyond the offensive content, and see my beauty.
